What is IV Therapy?

Intravenous (IV) hydration or vitamin therapy is an effective and efficient method to deliver essential vitamins and hydration directly to your bloodstream. When administered orally, vitamins are heavily metabolized by the digestive system which reduces their availability at the cellular level where they are most needed, Whether it’s for overall health, wellness, energy or hangover recovery, IV therapy is a proven solution to get your body what it needs.

What are the Benefits?

There are many benefits, which include but are not limited to:

  • Improving your overall health and wellbeing

  • Increasing your energy levels

  • Curing Hangover Symptoms

  • Promoting relaxation

  • Relieving anxiety

  • Boosting your immune system

  • Helping you maintain a healthy weight

  • Decreasing signs of aging

Is it Safe?

IV hydration therapy is completely safe and all of our vitamins are compunded at an FDA approved pharmacy.  Our registered nurses administer all infusions under the guidance of a medical director. Every client's health history is evaluated prior to each infusion.

How soon will I feel the effects?

Depending on the infusion you may be able to notice a difference in your energy level, state of relaxation etc., within an hour of treatment and sometimes even before your drip is done.  Some infusions are designed for long term benefits and you may not notice any immediate energy boosts or changes.

Does it Hurt?

Our nurses are skilled at administering IVs and injections. There may be some level of discomfort, however, most people barely feel the placement of their IV.  We do offer methods to pre-treat the skin to minimize discomfort if needed.

How long does it take?

The entire process takes between 30-60 minutes depending on your infusion if all necessary forms are completed prior to your visit.  New client intake forms may add an additional 15 mins if not completed before arrival.

Why should I get a Vitamin Infusion?

Intravenous (IV) hydration or vitamin therapy is an effective and efficient method to deliver essential vitamins and hydration directly to your bloodstream at the cellular level, where they are used to aid in cellular processes.  By giving your cells access to 1oo% of the infused nutrients they are better able to carry out their duties such as replication, repair, metabolism, conduction, immune responses and more.

How often can I get an infusion?

Each individual is different and their treatment and preferences differ as well.  Most report noticeable effects for up to 1.5 to two weeks. For the best results we recommend getting certain infusions weekly or every other week.  Infusions that are for treatment of acute symptoms such as a hangover, or migraine are only recommended as needed. Your Hydration Nurse will be better able to assist you based on your desired outcome and needs.

Are there any side effects or complications?

Side effects or allergic reactions from IV vitamin infusions are very rare. Side effects that could occur are bruising or bleeding at the IV site, or redness.  There is also always a small risk of infection as would incur with any shot or injectable due to puncturing the skin. However our staff of registered nurses and certified healthcare professionals are trained to administer intravenous therapy and we employ the highest safety measures to reduce the risk of infection.  Some more serious possible IV complications include infiltration, extravasation, and phlebitis.

Can I get an infusion if I'm pregnant?

We are very hesitant to give IV vitamin infusions during pregnancy due to the contraindications of some of the vitamins. However, with written consent from your OB/GYN stating that it is safe for you to receive the ingredients in your specific infusion, we may consider on a case-by-case basis.

What are Boosts?

Boosts are just our way of describing our injectables that can be administered either as an intramuscular injection or injected into your IV during your service.  Our boosts are. as the name suggests, an added lift to your service to give you the desired outcome you are looking to achieve such as increase metabolism, energy boost, appetite suppressant and more. All boost can be purchased with or without and infusion.

How does IV therapy work?

After completing all necessary intake paperwork and consenting to treatment, our staff will complete a brief history and assessment.  Once you decide on your drip, your IV will be placed and your infusion began.  Most infusions drip for about 30-60 minutes.  Once complete the IV is removed, we will conduct a post-infusion assessment and then go over your post-infusion instructions.  Whaa La! You have been DRIPPED!  You are REHYDRATED, ENERGIZED, & REFRESHED!

Do you provide services for events or parties?

But of course!  We offer special packages for Girl's Night Out, Bachelor/Bachlorette Parties, Sports Teams, corporate events and more. We are more than happy to offer services for your groups either at our location or we will come to you.  There is an additional $100 mobile fee for in-home or in-office visits for up to 2 guests and $25 for each additional person. Call our office for more information at (919)435-1185 to schedule your event.

I am an Athlete!  How does this help me?

Cellular nutrition is needed for tissue repair, so receiving IV vitamin infusions is a natural way to improve athletic performance and recovery.  IV nutrition assists in the production of ATP by the mitochondria, improving cellular functions. And because they are delivered directly into your bloodstream, the vitamins are absorbed faster and at higher concentrations.
